normal

Last week I almost complained about weather skipping spring. Stupid me.

As if this was read somewhere far away, at the weather brewing kitchen, it all swung back to “normal” – which is cold, rainy and windy. Not much of a gardening weather. But the plants know how to behave, despite the cold. They start to bloom – giving me much pleasure.

  1. Wow! These are your own flowers, Lyart? I’m impressed! I have a few beds of spring bulbs (tulip, narcissus, daffodil, crocus, hyacinth, one or two day lilies) so more colors and shapes are blooming by the day. As for plants knowing how to behave in different types of weather, I noticed tulips close their petals when it’s cold or rainy. Very cool. 🙂

    1. you are right, tulips “breathe”. and yes, these pictures all were taken yesterday in my little patch. But mind you – maybe I am a better photographer than gardener 😉
