Sunday Matinée

“Life is short, but art is forever” – what a perfect motto to use this week. It is painted onto the wall of the Hall of Honour at Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

I took some consolation, just looking at some pictures of landscape artwork I took in Amsterdam recently. I don’t know, but after all the depressing days last week, this calmed me down a little. Just hope, you like the paintings, too.
